Martin Luther King Jr Parade
More than 30,000 people attend this march annually to honor the great civil rights leader Martin Luther King, Jr. The event begins at City Park and ends with a large rally at Civic Center Park.
National Western Stock Show
Saddle up and make your way to this exciting event featuring more than 15,000 animals, the rodeo, auctions and bull riding. There is also a Western Art Exhibit and Sale.

Colorado Baby and Kidz Expo
Held at the National Western Complex, this family-friendly show hosts activities and interactive exhibits including a petting zoo, science experiements, stage shows and lots of vendors.
Buffalo Bills Birthday Celebration
This annual celebration is like no other with look-a-likes, country and western music, gunfighters, Pin-the-Tail on the Buffalo, Buffalo-Chip Tossing Contest and foods that range from buffalo steaks to rattlesnake meat! The fest is held in Golden, Colorado.
Colorado Garden and Home Show
This annual event is a must-attend for any home owner, featuring the best in spring landscaping, home improvement, patio and outdoor projects and everything in between. The venue is the Colorado Convention Center which is filled with 1,400 booths.

All About Kids Expo
The name of this event says it all. Families will appreciate all of the games, music and child-friendly exhibits that can be found, including pony rides, inflatables and a petting zoo. Downtown Denver's Colorado Convention Center is the venue.
St Patricks Day Parade
The St. Patrick's Day Parade has been known to last as long as four hours and is the city's biggest annual parade. Some of the many attractions include floats, marching bands, leprechauns, clowns, horses and stagecoaches.
Denver March PowWow
The Denver March PowWow attracts Native Americans from across the nation and Canada. Held at the Denver Coliseum, Native American culture is celebrated with costumed dancers, drum performances, storytelling, vendor booths and more.

Cinco de Mayo
Cinco de Mayo is held at Civic Center Park, celebrating Hispanic culture and attracting 400,000 visitors each year. Festivities include a parade, more than 200 crafts and food vendors, live music, a carnival midway and a children's play area.
Downtown Denver Arts Festival
Crowds near 150,000 convene at the Denver Pavilions in Downtown Denver, as more than 125 artists showcase their fine visual arts and crafts. Free admission.

Greek Festival
This is Greek culture at its finest, with baklava and other Greek food favorites as well as art exhibits, live music and traditional dance. The fest is sponsored by the Assumption of the Theotokos Greek Orthodox Cathedral.
CHUN Capitol Hill Peoples Fair
The diversity of Denver comes together and is celebrated through food, entertainment, family fun, massages, face painting, henna body art, tarot reading and a large selection and variety of handmade crafts. Hang out at the Wine Pavilion and relax to the sounds of live stage music.

Colorado Black Arts Festival
Celebrate the spirit of African American arwork, culture, and tradition with 3 stages of music, dance, visual arts, theater, film, paintings, drawings, photography and sculptures! There are Senior and Children's Pavilions and a popular Saturday morning Boogaloo Celebration Parade. Held at City Park.
Colorado Irish Festival
Wear your green so you don't get pinched, and make your way to this traditional favorite featuring Irish everything from food to dance to storytelling. The funfest is held in Clement Park in Littleton.
Colorado Dragon Boat Festival
Located at Lakewood's Sloan's Lake Park, this festival invites patrons from around the area to gather and experience Asian culture at its finest with dragon boat races, performing artists, a Marketplace, children's activities and the Taste of Asian Food Court.

Action of a all kinds can be had at the Colorado State Fair, including midway rides, concerts, contest, parades, animal exhibits, arts and crafts and more! The fair is held at the Colorado State Fairgrounds in Pueblo, about 110 miles south of Denver.

A Taste of Colorado
Food from some of the best restaurants in the area, beverages, carnival rides, six outdoor stages with live musical entertainment, cooking demonstrations, arts, crafts, and children's activities round out this annual event. This festival is held at Civic Center Park in downtown Denver.
Arvada Harvest Festival
It's time to take in the harvest and reap its rewards. Arvada, just outside Denver, brings together local produce, grape crushing, a Mexican buffet, belly dancers and fine arts. Twenty thousand people enjoy the annual parade's floats and marching bands.

Great American Beer Festival
The Great American Beer Festival features more beers than you could ever sample, representing about 450 breweries from across the nation. Both commercial breweries and microbreweries have booths at the event and enter the competition.

Denver International Wine Festival
If you enjoy food and fine wine, this is the festival for you! More than 16 countries and 70 wineries will be represented here during this event.
Holiday Food and Gift Festival
Rated one of the top 25 shows in the nation, this decorated holiday shopping festival has over 400 vendors offering clothes, jewelry, crafts, art, food, and more! Santa also makes his very first appearance of the year at this holiday fest!
Starz Denver Film Festival
More than 175 films will be shown at this annual festival, including independent films and documentaries, international feature films, shorts, children's films and animation. Many times the actors, producers, writers and directors are on hand to answer questions.

Zoo Lights Wild Lights
Wild Lights takes place at the Denver Zoo, where lighted sculptures of animals and lighted pathways illuminate the zoo throughout the month of December. Also featured are storytellers, carolers, Santa Claus and holiday goodies such as hot cider, hot chocolate and roasted chestnuts.
New Years Eve Fireworks Downtown
Beautiful colors fill the skies as the New Year is celebrated. There is an early show at 9 for families and a late show at midnight for the official start of the New Year!

Colorado Renaissance Festival
June-July
The Colorado Renaissance Festival features more than 200 artisans, as well as street performers, food vendors and more. You'll see knights jousting on horseback and other shows within this recreated 16th-century England. The fest is held in Larkspur.
Film on the Rocks
June-August
Patrons gather at the Red Rocks Amphitheater during the summer months for live entertainment followed by the feature film. Many great food and drink specials are offer at the ampitheater. The festival is sponsored by the Denver Film Society.
